Busy Star Flight
Blakeley,
Do you remember hearing and seeing the Star Flight helicopters as we played outside yesterday? We knew they were busy helping. I have learned there was a grass fire and the helicopters were bringing water to pour onto the grass to put out the fire. First, they fly over water, like a lake, and use a huge bucket to scoop up water (140 gallons). Then, they fly back and pour the water onto the fire. The bucket is called a Bambi Bucket. Good job, Star Flight!

Blakeley Elise
I have wanted a children’s play table for so long, and I cannot imagine a better one than this, created from the drafting table at which both Steve and I spent many hours. A beautiful and sustainable gift. Thank you, Steve.
The photograph of the mare in front of the barn is to record the creativity of your daughter. I noticed Blakeley had articulated one of the rear legs at an odd angle and asked if the mare had injured her leg and needed to visit the veterinarian?. She informed me “The mare is doing an arabesque.” Then, she performed an arabesque, horse in hand.
